Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act(WIOA) Grants
WIOA provides federal funds to states to help unemployed professionals obtain training grants
and certifications to return to work. Some of these federal funds are managed and disbursed through
the One Stop Career Centers (OSCCs) who approve these grants. BTII Institute is an Eligible Training
Provider for New Jersey’s WIOA program. BTII Institute contracts directly with the OSCCs to cover the
cost of your training and certification. Please click on the link below to complete your applications to

BTII Institute’s programs are outlined in the Training Options section of this website.
The programs include: 10+ weeks of training; course books & materials; practice exams;
and exam fees.
In addition, BTII Institute provides complementary job search preparation service including the
following workshops: Resume Writing, LinkedIn, Interview Question Preparation, and Mock Interviews.
BTII Institute has held recruiting events at the West Orange training center with top participating
employers including: Accenture, Bank of America, BASF, Dun & Bradstreet KPMG,
Prudential, TD Bank, and TD Securities.
Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) Program
If your job was offshored, you may be eligible for a more extensive grant through the
Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) Program. BTII Institute’s TAA Training programs are up to
1 year and 16 certifications. To learn more about this program please contact us and download the TAA
brochure below. The TAA Program is a federal program established to provide aid to workers who lose
their jobs or whose hours of work and wages are reduced as a result of increased imports or offshoring.
This program offers a variety of benefits and re employment services including training, job search
allowances, and relocation allowances to help eligible individuals return to work.
